Strengthen democracy, weaken authoritarianism, create a safer world—starting with Ukrainian economic independence
Make Your Dent in the Universe
Build economic infrastructure that outlasts you. Strengthen democracy against authoritarianism. Create a safer world for the next generation—starting with Ukrainian artisans who refuse to be victims.

Our developers need steady income to stay on this project — every week without funding risks losing them to other jobs | €20,000 raised of €250,000 goal
Why Should You Care About Ukraine?
This isn't about charity. It's about the world your kids and grandkids will inherit.
Make Your Dent in the Universe
Most people live and die without leaving a mark. They donate to feel good, then forget about it.
This is different. You're not sending money into a void—you're building infrastructure that outlasts you. A platform that will employ hundreds, maybe thousands of people for decades.
20 years from now, Ukrainian entrepreneurs will still be using what you helped build. That's a legacy. That's making a dent.
A Strong Ukraine = A Safer World for Your Family
If Ukraine's economy collapses, authoritarianism wins. That emboldens aggression everywhere—not just in Europe.
Economic independence IS national security. When Ukrainians can earn a living with dignity, they rebuild. When they depend on aid forever, they become vulnerable.
The world your children inherit is being shaped right now. A free, economically strong Ukraine means a more stable world. That's not charity—that's investing in your family's future.
We Could Lose Our Team
Alina, Yevhen and Oleksii are talented Ukrainian developers who chose to stay committed to this project. But they have bills to pay. They have families to support. They are not volunteers.
If funding slows down, they will—understandably—have to take other jobs to survive. And once they do, rebuilding the team means starting over: new contracts, new onboarding, lost momentum, delayed launch.
This isn't a manufactured deadline. It's reality. Every week of consistent funding keeps three skilled Ukrainians employed and the platform moving forward. Every gap in funding puts that at risk.
This Is Bigger Than Ukraine
The war in Ukraine isn't just about one country. It's a test of whether free societies can defend themselves against authoritarianism. And right now, the economic front is being lost.
The war has destroyed jobs—especially near frontlines. Companies won't invest due to risk. The Ukrainian government, stretched thin by war demands, can't provide economic support. Traditional aid keeps people alive but doesn't create independence.
Economic collapse is exactly what authoritarians want. Dependent populations are vulnerable populations. But economically independent Ukrainians? They rebuild. They resist. They win.
That's why we're building UkraineBoost Live Commerce—not as charity, but as economic infrastructure that changes the equation. When Ukrainian artisans can sell globally, they don't need handouts. They build wealth. They employ others. They strengthen their country from within.
And you? You become part of something that outlasts any donation. You help build a platform that will employ people for decades. That's how you make a dent in the universe.
The Problem We're Solving
The Current Reality
- The war has destroyed jobs across Ukraine—especially near frontlines
- Ukrainian and foreign companies are afraid to invest in the country
- The government must focus resources on the war effort, not economic support
- Skilled artisans and craftspeople have nowhere to sell their work
- Traditional aid doesn't create sustainable income or dignity
Our Solution
- Live video selling connects makers to global buyers—no local investment needed
- Works from anywhere—safe regions, near frontlines, or refugee locations
- Real-time interaction builds trust without physical stores
- Ukrainian developers build it = immediate employment today
- Creates sustainable income, not temporary relief
- Handcrafted goods showcase Ukrainian culture and resilience
Meet the Team Building This Platform
These aren't just developers—they're talented Ukrainians who lost their jobs and stability when the war came. Displaced to Denmark, they're ready to work. Your support doesn't just build a platform, it employs them today.
We only show first names and no recognisable photos. Our team members are Ukrainian nationals living abroad. In the current geopolitical climate, we take their personal security seriously and have chosen to protect their identities while still being fully transparent about who is doing the work.

Why I Started This
I grew up on a Danish farm — a childhood defined by freedom, personal responsibility and active participation in the local community. Those values have stayed with me my entire adult life. When Russia invaded Ukraine, something in me couldn't look away. Here was the most fundamental violation of human freedom imaginable: one nation deciding it had the right to destroy another people's right to live their lives.
I didn't want to just donate money and feel good about it. I wanted to do something that would create lasting change — something that matched my skills and my belief that people should be able to build their own lives through their own work. That's how UkraineBoost was born
"Freedom is the ability to do what is best for you and your family — as long as you don't hurt other people or take that freedom away from them. Invading another country is the ultimate way to take that freedom away. That is why I created UkraineBoost."
Why You Can Trust This Project
I have run my own IT company serving small and medium-sized businesses for over 30 years. I understand both Windows and Linux platforms, software development, and what it takes to build and maintain technology that real people can rely on. This isn't a passion project by someone with good intentions and no experience. It's a mission-driven business built by someone who has spent three decades making technology work.
UkraineBoost ApS is a legally registered Danish company — fully accountable, fully transparent. My name is on this. My reputation is on this. I am not going anywhere.
The Craftspeople Waiting to Work
28 Ukrainian artisans have already registered and are ready to launch the day this platform goes live. They're not asking for handouts—they're asking for a marketplace.
Complete Budget Transparency
We believe you deserve to know exactly where every euro goes. No vague promises. No hidden costs.
Our commitment to you: Development scales with funding — we will never spend more than we raise. At €80,000 we start with one developer. At €150,000 we bring in a core team. At the full €250,000 all three developers work together for a full year. Whatever level we reach, your money goes to work immediately and transparently.
Danish State Subsidy — Your Money Goes Further: Through a Danish government programme supporting refugees entering the workforce, we receive a 50% wage subsidy for each developer during their first 6 months of employment. This saves approximately €72,000 in salary costs — meaning your contributions fund significantly more development than the headline numbers suggest. This programme is a sign that the Danish state believes in both this team and this project.

Development Roadmap: Funded by Milestones
We build as we fund. Every euro goes directly to developer salaries. Here's how your support translates into platform progress.
Phase 1: Foundation (Complete) — Funded by first €20,000
Core architecture, user authentication, basic UI framework, WordPress integration. Already done thanks to our first supporters.Phase 2: Livestream Core (In Progress) — €20,000–€80,000
Video streaming infrastructure, live chat, real-time product interaction, creator dashboard. We need €60,000 more to complete this phase — employing our 3 developers for approx. 3 months.Phase 3: Payment Integration — €80,000–€140,000
Secure checkout, multi-currency support, European payment processors, creator payout system. Funds approx. 3 more months of full-team development.Phase 4: Marketplace & Discovery — €140,000–€200,000
Post-stream product browsing, creator profiles, search, buyer accounts, reviews. Funds approx. 3 months of development.Phase 5: Launch, Stability & Growth — €200,000–€250,000
Beta testing with first 28 creators, onboarding support, security hardening, public launch. Full platform live. Ukrainian artisans earning income. Team employed for a full year.
What Happens If We Don't Reach the Full Goal?

We believe in full transparency. Here's exactly what different funding levels mean for the project — so you can support with confidence at any level.
Minimum Viable
€80,000
Oleksii — our most senior full-stack developer — would lead development solo. Progress would be slower but the platform would get built. Hardware, tools and office costs would be scaled down accordingly.
Loses the team dynamic and speed advantage
Stretch Goal
€150,000
Oleksii full time plus Alina or Yevhen part time. Core platform features get built on a realistic timeline. A capable team, but not the full power of all three working together every day.
Good outcome — but the full team is faster and stronger
Full Goal Ideal
€250,000
Alina, Yevhen and Oleksii working together full time for a full year. They are a great team — experienced, complementary and motivated. Together they can build something none of them could build alone at this speed.
Full platform, full team, full year — this is the goal
Whatever level we reach, every euro raised goes to work immediately. No funding sits idle.
Built on Open Source — Owned by No One, Available to Everyone
We made a deliberate choice to build UkraineBoost Live Commerce entirely on open source technology. This isn't just a technical decision — it's a political and ethical one.
The Risk of Big Tech Dependency
Ukraine has already learned a painful lesson about dependency. When a single powerful actor controls critical infrastructure, they can withdraw it — or use it as leverage — at any moment.
Building a platform dependent on proprietary Big Tech services means handing control of Ukrainian creators' livelihoods to corporations whose priorities may not align with Ukraine's interests. That's a risk we refuse to take.
Open Source = True Independence
Open source software is owned by no corporation and controlled by no single actor. It cannot be switched off, paywalled or weaponised against its users. Once built, this platform belongs to the Ukrainian creator community — permanently.
No subscription fees to Big Tech. No risk of a CEO's political decision shutting down Ukrainian livelihoods overnight.
Built for Non-Technical Ukrainians — Long Term
We're honest about one thing: open source tools can be more complex to use than polished commercial products. That's why part of our mission — and part of what your support funds — is building a simple, accessible layer on top of open source foundations specifically designed for Ukrainian artisans who are makers, not developers.
Over time, as the platform matures and the community grows, we will invest in making the tools easier, more intuitive and more powerful — without ever surrendering control to a corporate platform that could disappear, change its terms, or hold creators hostage to fees.
"The platform we build will outlast any corporation, any CEO, and any political decision. It will belong to Ukrainian creators — forever. "
Choose How You'll Make Your Dent
Most donations disappear into the void. This is different. You're building infrastructure that will outlast you—employing people for decades, strengthening democracy, creating a safer world for your children. Each tier represents not just work hours today, but your permanent mark on history.
Remember: Alina, Yevhen and Oleksii are ready to work right now. The more consistently we fund, the more likely we keep the team together and deliver a platform that works.
Full transparency on wages: Our developers are paid €50/hour—a fair Western European market rate. We deliberately chose not to underpay Ukrainian talent just because they're refugees. Dignity means equal pay for equal work. Our total budget of €250,000 funds the full team for one year, with the Danish state covering 50% of wages for the first 6 months — stretching your contribution further.

Questions You Might Have
Why not just donate to traditional aid organizations?
Aid organizations do critical emergency work—food, shelter, medical care. But they can't create market infrastructure or sustainable employment. They can't replace the jobs that vanished when companies stopped investing. We're filling a different gap: creating economic opportunity in a wartime economy where traditional business won't go. Aid feeds people today; we help them feed themselves tomorrow.
Why Ukraine specifically? What about other countries that need help?
Because Ukraine is the frontline of a much bigger battle. If economic collapse leads to Ukraine's defeat, authoritarianism gets a massive win—and that emboldens aggression everywhere. China watches. Iran watches. North Korea watches. A strong, economically independent Ukraine sends the opposite message: free societies can defend themselves AND thrive. This isn't just about helping one country. It's about the geopolitical stability that keeps your own country safer. Your support here has ripple effects that protect your children's future in ways a donation to a random cause never could.
What happens if you don't reach your funding goal?
We've been fully transparent about this — see our three funding scenarios above. At €80,000 we can proceed with one developer. At €150,000 we have a core team. At €250,000 we have the full team working at full speed for a full year. We will not abandon this project at any funding level. Funds raised are held securely and if for any reason we cannot proceed at all, all contributions will be fully refunded.
How is this different from a donation?
Donations are one-way. Your support here creates a working platform that generates ongoing income for Ukrainian creators. Plus, you receive tangible benefits when we launch—discounts, early access, recognition, and more depending on your tier.
Who verifies the Ukrainian creators?
We partner with established Ukrainian cultural organizations and refugee support networks to verify creators. Every seller goes through identity verification and product quality checks before going live.
Can I get a refund?
Because we don't begin full development until the full €250,000 is raised, your contribution is held safely until that milestone is reached. If we do not reach our goal, you will receive a full refund. Once development begins, refunds are not possible as funds are directly paying developer salaries and operational costs—but you will receive all the benefits listed in your tier and full monthly transparency reports.
How will creators get paid?
We're integrating with international payment processors that work in Ukraine and throughout Europe. Creators receive 85% of each sale, with 15% covering platform operations and continued development.
What if the platform doesn't succeed after launch?
Even if market adoption is slower than expected, your support will have already accomplished something meaningful: employing Ukrainian developers for up to a full year and building infrastructure that creators can use. We're committed to running the platform for minimum 2 years post-launch.
This Is Your Chance to Make a Dent
Most people never get the opportunity to build something that outlasts them. To strengthen democracy in a meaningful way. To create infrastructure that will employ people for decades.
This isn't about pity. It's about legacy. It's about the world your children inherit. It's about being able to say: "I was there. I built something that mattered."
We've raised €20,000 of our €250,000 goal. Every day without funding is a day without jobs for our developers—and another day Ukrainian artisans can't reach a market.
